Research Summary
- I am an economist with a background and publications in atmospheric chemistry. My fields of interest are: environmental and natural resource economics, energy economics, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics. My research projects fall mainly in the following subject areas: energy (including offshore petroleum production, oil, renewable energy), air quality, natural resources, and environmental regulation. My research projects use the following methodologies: applied econometrics (including structural econometrics and spatial econometrics) and applied theory (including optimal control theory, game theory and contract theory).
Teaching Summary
- I teach an upper-level undergraduate course in natural resource economics (ARE 175) and a Ph.D. course on advanced topics in environmental and resource economics (ARE 276).
