• Global Climate Change - Chemical mechanisms of how reactive snow emissions interact with atmospheres and thus affect Global Change.

Research Summary

• Experimental/analytical tropospheric photo-chemist in the Arctic and remote atmospheres. Research specialized in snow – atmosphere exchange processes of reactive species (NOx, HOx) both in field and lab. My current research focus is the international multi-disciplinary program OASIS (Ocean-Atmosphere-Sea Ice-Snowpack Interactions), which I coordinate. I am interested in the chemical mechanisms of how reactive snow emissions interact with atmospheres and thus affect Global Change.
